It is therefore integral that LG Professionals WA actively seeks to be a leading voice of local government professionals and be strong and effective in advocating on issues to create beneficial outcomes for the Association, its members, and the local government sector.
Strong, consistent positions and awareness of Association and member aspirations will also support LG Professionals WA to successfully advocate for the sector.
At the LG Professionals WA Board meeting held on Friday 5 March 2021, the Board formally adopted the Advocacy and Policy Platform 2021-2023.
The Advocacy and Policy Platform 2021-2023 outlines the key advocacy and policy objectives of LG Professionals WA aligned to its strategic priorities over the next three years.
We encourage members to proactively engage with the Association and provide input, in the key advocacy areas by contacting the LG Professionals WA office or our Board members.
