Cyber Security Webinar

The potential of a cyber security breach is one of the most significant threats that local governments need to manage. With those that intend to cause harm becoming more sophisticated in their approaches, it is important that you are aware of the latest cyber security activities and become familiar with the support and assistance provided by the Australian Joint Cyber Security Centre.

The Australian Cyber Security Centre's (ACSC) Joint Cyber Security Centres (JCSCs) enhance Australia's cyber security maturity by bringing together industry, government, and academia in an open and cooperative environment. The JCSCs amplify ACSC's efforts to deter, detect, and respond to malicious cyber activity across Australia, provide collaborative forums to share cyber threat intelligence, and improve cyber security practices.

Join us at this complimentary webinar to hear more about the work being undertaken by JCSC and the support available to local governments. Theo Anton (Director ACSC Perth) will provide information about the work done by the Centre as well as partnership opportunities available to local governments, In addition, Theo will also discuss personal cyber security with helpful tips to reduce risks.

We will also be joined by James Pearson, CEO City of Joondalup who will share the City's experience in working with the ACSC.
