Craig McGuinness
Chief Economist, Western Australian Treasury Corporation
Craig commenced his employment with Western Australian Treasury Corporation (WATC) in December 2003 as part of WATC's graduate program before taking on the position of quantitative financial analyst, a role that involved modelling the impact of various funding strategies on client borrowing costs. Craig moved into the position of economist in 2005, combining the role with that of senior ALM analyst, until his appointment as Chief Economist in 2016. Craig is responsible for providing interest rate forecasts for WATC and its clients as well as providing commentary on economic and financial market developments. Craig graduated from Edith Cowan University in Western Australia Bachelor of Business with majors in economics and finance and has completed a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance. Craig maintains accreditation in the Australian Financial Markets Association.
Steven Rowley BSc (Hons), PhD

Director Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute - Curtin Research Centre
Steven Rowley is a Professor in the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance at Curtin University and has been director of the Australian Housing Urban Research Institute's (AHURI) Curtin research centre since 2011. He is past chair of the WA Housing Industry Forecasting Group and during his 25 year research career has delivered numerous influential research reports for government and industry in the areas of housing affordability, affordable housing, housing supply and urban regulation.
Damian Stone
Principal and Chief Problem Solver, Y Research
Damian Stone is the Principal of Y Research - an independent West Australian property information and research firm. Since its inception in 2010, Y Research has developed unique databases on Perth's office, retail, apartment, medical, tourism and industrial property markets through 'on the ground' property inspections. At Y Research, Damian produces a series of regular reports on the above markets and provides consultancy and advisory services to a range of clients. He is also regularly featured as an industry commentator in The West Australian, Business News and on talk-back radio. Prior to starting Y Research, Damian worked at the Property Council of Australia (WA Division) as the Manager - Research and Policy and Business Development Manager
