Rethinking Time Management: Achieve more with your time

The increasing demands of additional workload, time constraints and limited resources are adding pressure to already 'under-the-pump' local government officers. The hybrid working environment with team members working from various locations can also add to the pressure by creating team communication, cohesion and rostering challenges. These challenges and pressures can impact productivity and put local government officers at risk of burnout. We need to act - we need to develop strategies that enable us to continually achieve more with less.

Delegates will leave this workshop with a 'Do More With Less Plan', plus a list of time management tools and techniques that will assist you in improving and increasing productivity.
Workshop participants will 'learn through doing' using powerful tools for dealing with the immediate time management issues within local government.
This one-day workshop will answer:

  • What is the current thinking around time management and how does it affect me?
  • How can I identify time management barriers and priorities?
  • What are the practical tools that can help me achieve more - without just working harder?
  • What action plans can I develop to address barriers?
  • What can I say 'no' to?
  • How can I better balance the priorities that I am working with?
Facilitated by experienced Advisor Justin Davies, this workshop will enable participants to:
  • Walk away with a clear and concise 'one page plan' and roadmap for your time management.
  • Gain clarity on improving your productivity and effectiveness through more effective time management.
  • Identify time management barriers and priorities.
  • Develop action plans to address time management barriers.
  • Understand how life balance and belief systems impact you and the people you work with.
