The Role:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a full-time position which reports directly to the President of the Law Society on behalf of the Council.
The CEO leads the organisation and has four (4) General Managers responsible for the following areas reporting to them:
- Advocacy and Professional Development
- Corporate Services
- Law Mutual (WA)
- Marketing, Business Development and Community Engagement
About You:
You will be a leader with a wide range of experience including in the areas of policy, advocacy, government relations and preferably within the legal sector, government or a related industry/professional association body.
You will also have a proven track record of influencing policy outcomes, and building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, government, and other peak bodies and associations.

A competitive remuneration is offered dependent on your qualifications and experience. In addition to this, you will be entitled to the normal 4 weeks annual leave plus an additional 10 gifted leave days and 11 rostered days off each calendar year in accordance with the Law Society's Policies.
