The Shire of Wongan-Ballidu is seeking applications for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated person who has relevant community development experience and customer service management experience, wanting to join our hard working, passionate team and become a part of the Wongan-Ballidu community.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the position is primarily responsible for community development and engagement (including the management of the Wongan Hills Community Resource Centre), customer service, and a wide array of other services, including, but not limited to, stakeholder engagement, community and recreational grant funding, marketing and communications, youths and seniors initiatives, Shire and CRC events (not including Civic functions), library services and much more to assist the community and Council in identifying and coordinating projects and programs to promote and develop the lifestyle of the community within the Shire.

The successful applicant will have a thorough understanding of issues affecting community development in regional WA and be innovative to implement new community and customer service focused initiatives and has had previous experience in a similar management role.
The position is based in Wongan Hills, which is a progressive town situated 184kms northeast of Perth in the Wheatbelt. The town is well serviced with shopping, medical, excellent sporting facilities, day care and a district high school.

An attractive package within the range $106,175 - $120,113 per annum including a cash salary component range between $85,000 - $97,500, a modern 4 x 2 executive dwelling at subsided rental and other benefits will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
