Local Government Gender Balance Survey

The Local Government Professionals WA Gender Balance Framework Committee invites you to participate in this survey to seek your views about Gender Balance in the local government industry.

Since our last survey in 2021, the Committee has undertaken a number of initiatives these were shared in a message from our Chair Suzie Haslehurst on International Women's Day 2023.

To further inform the Association's ongoing work in this space, we would appreciate you taking 15 mins of you time to complete this survey to help us to understand the challenges and barrier you might have faced / witnessed that prevents the progression of gender balance in the sector; as well as opportunities that the Association can work on with you to move the needle further in the right direction.

Research has consistently demonstrated that when there is good gender balance in executive and management positions, the organisation makes better decisions, enhances productivity and experiences better workplace culture.

Your participation will help guide the Committee's discussion on priority initiatives to allow the local government industry to be truly reflective of the diverse communities we serve.

We realise how precious your time is, so this survey will only take 15 mins! The survey can be accessed here your participation by 5pm, Friday 21 July 2023 is greatly appreciated.

Should you wish to discuss this further, please contact CEO Candy Choo on 9271 1136 or [email protected]

Your participation by 5pm, Friday 21 July 2023 is greatly appreciated.
