Call for Papers

We want to hear about effective and innovative initiatives that promote age-friendly projects in your communities.

Projects with diverse representation from Indigenous, CALD, intergenerational and LGBTIQ+ groups will be encouraged.

You will have an opportunity to present on any aspect of age-friendly communities work that covers the World Health Organisation's Age Friendly Communities domains:
  • Social Participation
  • Respect and Social Inclusion
  • Civic Participation and Employment
  • Communication and Information
  • Community and Health Services

Paper submissions close: 
Wednesday 24 July 2024

Notification of acceptance of paper: 
Friday 2 August 2024

Paper synopsis for inclusion in conference program due by: Friday 9 August 2024

Submitting your paper
Applications are open now and will be accepted until 24 July 2024.

Please specify the title of your paper, length of your presentation, how it reflects the Conference theme and which of the World Health Organisation's Age Friendly Communities domains it addresses.

The Conference Planning Committee will undertake the final selection of speakers and presenters. Successful applicants will be notified on Friday 2 August 2024.
