At LG Professionals WA, our vision is to foster a thriving community of local government professionals who are dedicated to continually enhancing services for local communities. As a member-centric organisation, one of our core objectives is to retain and attract dedicated professionals in the sector, building a strong community of practice.

To support our members, we are proud to announce the launch of a new pilot initiative: the Peer Support Hardship Fund. This initiative will be trialed during the 2024/25 financial year to provide financial assistance to members facing hardship.

Why your support matters

We understand that financial difficulties can sometimes force members to consider cancelling their membership, even though they recognise the significant value and benefits that come with being part of our association.

We believe that no member should have to forfeit their professional community during tough times. Therefore, we are appealing to the generosity of our members to contribute to the Peer Support Hardship Fund. Your contribution will directly support members who find themselves in financial hardship, ensuring they can continue to benefit from their membership.

If you would like to contribute more than $50 please contact Suzanne McKenna, Membership & Office Manager [email protected]
